Trees in Bloom

“”Real happiness is cheap enough, yet how dearly we pay for its counterfeit.” – Hosea Ballou

Every season has something to get excited about. When you ask me what my favorite season is, I usually respond with, “It depends.” I enjoy fall because of the leaves changing, and that gives me an excuse to go to the mountains. I enjoy winter because of all of the holidays. I like spring because everything has started to bloom and grow again. I enjoy summer because it means I get a much-deserved break from working all school year. I enjoy each season for a different reason.

I took these photos a couple of months ago while riding my bike around Uptown Charlotte. I was looking for trees to capture photos of that were in bloom. I captured these at Fourth Ward Park. Fourth Ward Park is a smaller park in Uptown that has a small field and a walking path.
