“Words are often seen hunting for an idea, but ideas are never seen hunting for words.” – Josh Billings

Typically, I don’t walk around with my camera on the regular. I usually leave it at home, but when I see something that I want to capture, sometimes I will run inside and grab it. There are a few times where there would either be a sunset outside or something that I wanted to make sure I got a great shot of that I didn’t think that my phone would be able to do.

One instance of this happened the last time we went camping near the Smokey Mountain National Park back in July of 2022. While we were driving there, it had rained the entire time. The rain got even heavier when we were backing the trailer into our spot and setting up camp. It finally stopped right in time for us to make dinner. After dinner, I was walking around the campground when I noticed one of the most incredible sunsets that I had ever seen. I ran back to my camper, grabbed my camera, and I started to snap away.
