I can never get enough of the mountains. It has always been one of my favorite places to visit. From the spectacular views to the amazing towns, there is no shortage of a fun at these places. I try to visit the mountains at least once a year during the fall. Sometimes I can pull off going on a day trip there during the summer as well. I have a few places that I love to visit every year, and it seems like I get to be able to add more great places as time goes on.
I took these photos last November when I took a trip to Curtis Creek. Curtis Creek is one of those places I love to visit every year. Curtis Creek is located near Old Fort, North Carolina. If you would like to visit, just Google Curtis Creek Campground, and it will take you there. What’s nice about Curtis Creek is you can see most of these great views from the side of the road. You don’t have to go on a long hike, just hop out of your car at different points.
