Sometimes when you travel things don’t go as planned. All but one time we visited Nassau it rained. We had a shore excursion planned, and it was cancelled the night before our cruise. On our last cruise, the stop for our beach day was cancelled. Things like this happen. When they do, the only thing we can do is go with the flow.
On the day our beach day was cancelled, we were kind of relieved. We had spent the previous day driving around Nassau with a Jeep tour group. It was a lot of fun, but driving in Nassau is more stressful than driving in the U.S. A day of rest is what I needed. We took it slow that day, enjoying time on the deck, and checking out the views. At the end of the day, I brought my camera out to the deck, and captured an amazing sunset. While the day didn’t go as planned, I was still able to capture these awesome photos.
