Trip to Delaware

“That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much.” – Robert Louis Stevenson

Fun fact about me, before the first 36 years of my life, I had not done that much travel. When my wife and I first got married, we didn’t have that much money. Then we had children, which meant we had even less money and time. However, in 2018, I left the country for the first time, and traveled the furthest west I had ever traveled before in the United States. That was the beginning of my many travels around the United States and across the world. Since then, I have been to about a dozen different countries and more states.

I captured these photos back in 2018 when the family and I took a camping trip to Delaware. You might be wondering, why Delaware. We were considering a longer trip at the time, but we were not sure if we were going to have the money to do it, so while we were planning the trip, we found some pretty cool places in Delaware to check out. One of the places we stopped at was the Lavendar Fields at Worthington Manor. My wife has always been a big fan of the smell of lavender, and so I thought we could go check it out. It was a fun experience. We were able to see how they grow and prepare lavender for sale. It was great to walk around and take different photos.
