“Every man has his own destiny: the only imperative is to follow it, to accept it, no matter where it leads him.” – Henry Miller

A clear day is one of my favorite days to take photos. On those days it seems like I get the best photos on those days. When it is clear outside, I typically prefer to go out on my bike on a clear day to capture the best photos I can. Some of my favorite photos are taken on clear days. Just because it’s cloudy doesn’t mean there are no opportunities to take photos, it just means I have to think differently that day. I might not be taking the typical landscape shots that I prefer to take, it might mean that I focus on a particular object or find a different perspective for that day.

I took these photos at Marshall Park last month while riding my bike through Uptown Charlotte. Marshall Park is one of my favorite parks to visit in Charlotte because it has great views of Uptown, and it is pretty easy to get to from my house. If I ride there on Saturdays, I will typically stop by the Uptown Farmers Market across the street, grab a treat, and then come over hear to take some photos.
