Fall is Coming

“Hope is patience with the lamp lit.” – Tertullian

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I’m all about the cooler weather, the leaves changing, the up coming holidays, and I do enjoy football season. There is a lot to look forward to in fall. While I love the fall season, it is also one of my busiest seasons. The school year starts at the end of August, and while I have been working all summer writing curiculuim, there is a difference between working at home writing and teaching a classroom full of 5th graders. Life is getting ready to get a lot busier, but at least I know fall is coming.

I took these photos last fall when my son and I took a day trip up to Curtis Creek. Curtis Creek is located near Old Fort, North Carolina in the mountains. I have always loved visiting Curtis Creek because I get to see amazing views without having to hike too far from my truck.

Check out the reel below that I recorded at Curtis Creek.
