“It’s impossible to map out a route to your destination if you don’t know where you’re starting from.” – Suze Orman

A few weeks ago I decided to go a different route on my bike than usual. I started the same way I do every time, but this time I decided to turn differently than usual. Sometimes going a different way leads to new opportunities. While I was riding I saw a sign that said “Detour Coffee.” I found a coffee food truck. I ordered my usual, Iced Americano. It was fantastic, and the people there were nice too. I found a quiet place to sit, and I took a moment with my coffee to reflect on all of the great things that had happened this summer. I always was able to take some pretty good photos of the area. All in all, it was a great ride.

These shots are of a fountain on the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, not too far from Uptown Charlotte. I was just going to keep going, but it was such a clear day, that I had to take my camera out of the bag and snap these photos.

Below is my Instagram Post from the other day with more details about that ride.
