“Ambition is but avarice on stilts, and masked.” – Walter Savage Landor

When it comes to taking photos there are some things I am obsessed with capturing. Waterfalls and sunsets are two of my favorites. However, I also enjoy capturing flowers while they are blooming. I haven’t been able to do as much this summer because I have been busy, and I didn’t plant any this year at my house. I went to a spot that I have captured flowers at before, and it looks like I missed my opportunity to. Lucky for me, flowers always come back next year.

I captured these photos while I was riding my bike around Uptown Charlotte back in the summer of 2022. I wasn’t working that summer, and I was able to ride my bike a lot during the week. It’s fun riding during the week because the trail I go on has fewer people on it. The park I was at is called Fourth Ward Park. It’s a small urban park in Uptown Charlotte that features a fountain, a field, and a nice walking path.
Check out the video below of another set of blooms that I love to check out is when the trees blooms here in Charlotte.
