One of my favorite things to capture while I travel is sunrises and sunsets. Sometimes capturing a sunrise can be tricky because getting up early on vacation is not my favorite thing to do, and it takes a little preparation to make it out in time. I usually have to have my camera bag ready to go and clothes laid out so I don’t disturb my family when I pack up. Sunset can be tricky to catch depending on what time everyone wants to eat dinner. I try to make at least one sunset and one sunrise while on vacation.
The image at the top of this post is one of my favorite photos that I have taken. I love how the sun’s rays are coming out of the clouds. I took this photo when we went on a cruise back in 2019. We had a window room that year. As we were packing up on the last day, I looked up and saw the sun starting to set behind the clouds. I grabbed my camera and captured as many shots as I could of it. The one at the top was the one that turned out the best.
