If you have been keeping up the news over the last few days you know that these two areas were completely devastated by Hurricane Helene. I mention these two areas because they have a special place in my heart.
If you have been following me for a while, you will know that Western North Carolina is one of my favorite places to visit. I have been visiting the area since I was a kid. Seeing the devastation in places I have made so many memories with my family breaks my heart.
CSRA stands for the Central Savanah River Area. It is located around Augusta, GA. I grew up in this area. My family there has had a lot of destruction to and around their homes. Just about everyone has no power and cell service is limited.
The photos in the graphic were taken in both areas. Below is a list of organizations supporting the areas hardest hit.

Organizations Supporting the Region
An organization working to support those in East Tennesse is the East Tennesse Foundation. They are working with non-profits in the area that was hit hardest in the eastern part of the start. If you would like to donate, go to their website: https://easttennesseefoundation.org.
The American Red Cross is on the ground in different parts of the region offering aid and assistance. To donate, go to their website at https://www.redcross.org/.
The North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund has been set up to raise money in order to help those hardest hits in the region. Go to https://pay.payitgov.com/ncdonations to donate.
