“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

With the disaster happening right now in different parts of the Southeastern United States, I wanted to take this week and post photos of some the beautiful places I have visited there before. I want to share these photos to bring attention to the region and highlight some of the nonprofits supporting them right now. There is no way to get to these places to help because it is unsafe to travel to many of them, however, there are ways we can help now by donating to agencies supporting those regions.

I took these photos a few years ago while visiting Gatlinburg, Tennesse. It rained some while we were there, and this runoff creek on the side of the road was flowing pretty good. My wife took me to this one spot so I could have an opportunity to capture it.

An organization working to support those in East Tennesse is the East Tennesse Foundation. They are working with non-profits in the area that was hit hardest in the eastern part of the start. If you would like to donate go to there website: https://easttennesseefoundation.org.
