“The finest steel has to go through the hottest fire.” – Richard M. Nixon

When the weather is nice I try to take advantage as often as possible from grilling out to riding my bike around town. I try to enjoy being out as much as possible. With work it can be tricky to enjoy being outside, but when I have the opportunity I take it. Sometimes being outside is just sitting outside with a warm cup of coffee on a cool morning, or it could be spending the afternoon doing some work around the house. Getting some fresh air goes a long way in having a great day.

A few weeks ago, I took advantage of the good weather and rode around Uptown. It was a work-from-home day for me, and since I finished everything pretty early, I decided to head out for a bit. I took these photos at Marshall Park in Uptown. I visit here often because the views are great, and it’s a peaceful place to hang out in the middle of the city.
