“Where there is no vision, there is no hope.” – George Washington Carver

When it comes to taking photos in the fall, I try to plan it out as best I can. I try to get out and take as many photos as I can when the leaves are changing. It can be tricky to get out because I have a pretty busy work schedule this time of the year. I prefer to ride my bike to different locations to take photos because it’s easier to get in and out of the different locations. However, time doesn’t allow that every year, so then I just drive out there.

I took these a couple of years ago over near the Little Sugar Creek Greenway in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. This year was busy for us, and I had to make time to get out that year. I remember that fall was cloudy almost every day, and finally I had on semi-clear day that I was able to get out and take photos.

Check out this video I took at the same spot in the fall.
