“Dream in a pragmatic way.” – Aldous Huxley

We like to plan where we are going next. In the context for my families vacations we typically plan them out months in advance. Not only does this help us get better deals, but it also gives us something to look ahead to. In life, we like planning things out too, but sometimes that doesn’t work out the way we like it to. Things happen, and we have to change out plans. Over the years, I have learned that it is okay to make plans. Still, be prepared for them to change.

I took this photo at a park called The Green in Uptown Charlotte. It is a park that has literacy as a theme. There are book quotes by famous authors. The names of famous authors are on street signs. The artwork promotes literacy among children. This sign in particular shows the distance for different cities named Charlotte all across the United States.

Here a video I took on the way to this park.
