“People who know little are usually great talkers, while men who know much say little.” – Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Nothing makes you more reflective than sunset. We know sunset marks the end of the day, but often times it causes us to reflect on the day thinking about what went right and what went wrong. Sunset close to the end of the year makes one even more reflective because we know the new year starts in only a few days. One thing I was reflective about for the last few weeks are my goals for 2025. For the last few years, I have chosen a word that helps me with my goals for the next year. My word for this year is pause. My mind typically goes from one to another, and this year I want make it a habit to pause and reflect before I make my next decision.

I took these photos on the first night of our 11-day cruise that we took as a family during winter break. For this last cruise we sailed out of Tampa. The timing of sunset was perfect for the sunset that evening. Being able to capture the sunset and city of Tampa at the same time was a great moment.

Here is a video of another great sunset.
