Photographing nature and animals is something I enjoy. When my kids were younger, we would go to the zoo often, and I would try and capture as many photos as I could. We haven’t been in a while now that they are older, but I still enjoy taking photos of any type of wildlife that I encounter.
Last winter break the family and I took an 11-day cruise through the Bahamas. Our first stop was in the Dominican Republic the day after Christmas. We took a shore excursion to a butterfly sanctuary on a plantation. We walked around and saw several different types of butterflies.
