Change is inevitable. Whether we like it or not, things change over time. Ever since I turned 40, I have been experiencing a lot of change in my life. My kids are now in high school, one of them is driving, and the other isn’t far behind. I left the school I worked at for over 10 years because it was holding back my growth. That’s only the beginning of where I have experienced change in the last few years. Sometimes change comes with the passing of time. Other times, it happens because things are not what they used to be. We can’t prevent change, but we can embrace it as an opportunity.
One of my favorite places to ride my bike to is Freedom Park in Charlotte. The path around the lake is one of my favorite places. The trails that lead to it are also some of my favorite places to go and take photos. Freedom Park has a lot to offer from a large playground to several ball fields. There is plenty to do here on a clear day.
