“You can’t expect to hit the jackpot if you don’t put a few nickels in the machine.” – Flip Wilson

If you haven’t figured it out by now, I enjoy photography. Whenever I travel, my camera is close by my side. I bought my current camera almost a year ago, and it has already been to six different countries. I enjoying photographing the places that I visit because it is my way of keeping up with the memories. Before 2018, I had never left the country. This time, I have been to over a dozen different countries. Travel used to not be a part of my life, but I am glad that it is.

One of the craziest days of going on a cruise is debarkation day. For those of you who do not cruise, that is the day you get on to the boat. From getting through security to waiting on your room to be ready, it can be exhausting. As we waited for our room to be ready, my wife had a question. She asked if I wanted to take some pictures. I looked at her, and asked why. She told me look, it’s water and trees. I sat there for a second. I felt a little insulted. I realized she was right. I wanted to take some pictures. So I went up to the top deck and started to take pictures.

Here is a video I took while on the same cruise, the day we arrived in the Dominican Republic.
