It has been cold here in Charlotte for the last few weeks. It is the middle of winter, but the last few winters have been on the milder side. My fifth graders have been saying something interesting lately. They think that if it’s cold, then we should be getting some snow. I get it, we all want a good snow day. We had one last week, but we didn’t get much snow. Instead, we had a quarter inch of ice fall on the ground. Maybe with it being this cold we will see some snow in the next few days.
The last time we had good snow in Charlotte was back in 2022. Typically, when it snows, I usually don’t go anywhere. I can handle driving in the snow if I have to. But the roads are not that clear. Most people around here struggle with driving in them. Since I stay home when it snows, these are some shots I took from around the outside of my house.
