Keep Going

They say it’s easier to give up than to fail again. Believe it or not we persevere with more than we think we do. Too often, we look back more on where we have given up more than where we have kept going. I remember when I was looking for a job after I finished my masters degree. I applied for jobs for almost over a year, and every job I applied for sent me a rejection letter. One organization even sent a letter stating that they were going to interview me in person. I reached out to them to confirm the meeting time. They told me they sent me that letter by mistake. Eventually, I applied to be a teacher in Charlotte. Originally, it was going to be temporary. It ended up being a great choice for me. I enjoyed the challenge of he classroom, and found that this was where I was supposed to be. Look for those moments when you have persevered to encourage you to keep going today.

One of my favorite places to ride my bike in Uptown Charlotte is the Rail Trail. It’s a path that goes by the light rail trail that leads to Uptown Charlotte.
