I enjoy following photographers on social media. While portrait photographer isn’t my thing, I enjoy learning more about it, and how to do it. I think street photography is cool. There is something about a good candid shot that I appreciate. Doing street photography makes me nervous. I am nervous I will photograph the wrong person. They might want to break my camera. I enjoy doing landscape photography. I have always enjoyed taking in a good view, and when I photograph it, I can relive it again. I enjoy following travel photographers because I see places that I would love to visit one day.
Back in 2023, I saw a post online for a new collection of art murals in Uptown Charlotte. I grabbed my camera, and rode my bike down to Luminous Lane. It’s an alley that has been completely covered in murals. The art that was added to this alley completely lights it up. It took 42 artists to make this amazing space happen. It’s worth checking out. Without this art, this alley would just be another dark space in Charlotte. Instead, Luminous Lane lives up to its name.
