One thing I am looking ahead to is warmer weather. This has been a cold winter. I can tell it has been a cold winter based off my heat bill for the last couple of months. One thing I love about the spring is when the trees start blooming around Charlotte. Most of the year they are green. But, for a couple of weeks, the city fills with a sea of pink and white flowers. The entire landscape of Charlotte looks different during those weeks.
I try to enjoy the blooms as much as I can. I took these photos a few years ago while I was riding my bike on the Light Rail Trail. The Light Rail Trail is a path that runs by the train that leads into Uptown Charlotte. This is one of my favorite places to ride in the city.
