When I travel, I love checking out new things and seeing things I haven’t seen before. Sometimes we forget that travel can be exhausting at times. Sometimes after enjoying an adventure, I’m a little tired. I used to just keep going because I was afraid I would miss something. However, I miss it even more when I don’t have the energy to do anything. This is why I set aside time while on vacation to rest. Half the reason I am on vacation is to rest. Taking time to rest can mean sitting in my room and watching a show I want to catch up on. It can also mean sitting outside with a good book.
One of the reasons I need to rest sometimes while on vacation is because I love catching a good sunrise. I typically wake up early on vacation because I wake up early normally. I captured this sunrise right as our cruise ship pulled up to Porto Rico. These shots were tricky to capture. I decided to use my manual lens. It takes a high quality shot.
