Screen Captures

“The whole secret of life is to be interested in one thing profoundly and in a thousand things well.” – Horace Walpole

Have you ever been out somewhere before, you wanted to take a photo of something and you couldn’t? I feel like this happens to me a lot. When I visit somewhere, it might look like I have my camera against my face the entire time. But I don’t always do that. Like when I am driving somewhere, for instance, you can’t drive and take photos at the same time. Trust me, I have tried. Also riding my bike and taking photos at the same time isn’t as same as well. There are moments where you can’t just capture everything.

While riding my bike I like to attach my GoPro to it. I do this for a couple of reasons. One, if something happens to me, it might come in handy to have it on video. Two, the videos look cool to me. Sometimes I do a time-lapse, and other times I do it full speed. I was riding back home yesterday from a long bike ride, and I wanted to capture more photos. It was a clear day and some pretty cool scenes. The problem was I had to get back home. I went back through the video I made of that moment, and was able to get some good screen grabs of that section of my ride. I used to @gopro Quick App because it was easy to stop at the right moment. I’m starting to enjoy this street photography thing. My @samsung app did a good job of helping me edit the photos.

I took these photos while riding on the light rail trail in the Southend Neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina. It only takes me about 1/2 mile ride to get here from my house.
