Someone asked me the other day what I preferred to take photos of. I think my preference will always be landscape photography. I have always loved a good view, and I love capturing those views to help me remember them. It’s my way to keeping the memories of a good trip alive. Lately, I have been practicing street photography where I live in Charlotte. I’ve captured most of the different places and view around Charlotte. However, every time I ride my bike around Uptown Charlotte I see different people. I have found some different spots to try and be inconspicuous, while capturing photos of people passing by. I am enjoying the street photography, my heart will always be with landscape photography.
I took these photos last winter, when the family and I took a cruise around the Caribbean. One of the places we stopped was Willemstad, Curaçao. It is well known for having a floating bridge near their port. Here are some photos of it, and what it looked like to walk across it.
