Blooms in the Yard

“O, wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?” – Percy Bysshe Shelley

I like to think that I am a big yard, but I’m really not. While I do enjoy working in the yard, finding time can be tricky. Between work and family responsibilities, the only time I really have to work out in it is during the weekends. Since my time is limited, I try to get plants and trees that don’t need that much work. This way, I can have some good stuff in the yard. I don’t have to take that much time to work on it.

Since it is spring, it is time to post all the plants blooming in my yard. I captured these shots with my phone of the azaleas in my front yard. When we first moved to our house, they were about 1 foot high. That is about 30 cm for my international friends. Today most of them are about 4 feet high (1.2 meters). Typically, they are just big green bushes in my front yard. This time of the year they are covered in blooms.
