People in the Park

“God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.” – Saint Augustine

I hesitate to say I’m bored with taking photos around Charlotte. It seems like I have captured just about all of it. The city has changed a lot since I moved here. There used to be hardly anything in my area. Now I know there is so much more here. I talk to people who haven’t been in this area in a while. They are always surprised by how much of it has changed. Lately, I have felt like I need to do something different. The last couple of times I have gone out with my camera, I have been taking photos of random people. I photograph people I see on the street. It has been fun doing something different, and getting a different kind of capture.

I took these shots a few weeks ago when I was at Marshall Park. This is one park I visit often. It’s close to my house, and it has a great view of Uptown Charlotte. These are shots of the few people I saw at this park.

Here are some other posts I have made about Marshall Park.

  1. I completely understand having a sense of boredom but the result of taking more shots of people in Charlotte is wonderful!, too! I especially liked the image of the man looking out at the fountain (I think) in b&w. Made me wonder what he is thinking. Nicely done! 😊
