There are some things I put off because I don’t want to deal with it. From bills to taxes, I put it off because I don’t want to deal with it. Sometimes we can’t avoid things that are certain, from aging to life events. While those things are always coming, we can prepare for the expected. Often, as a teacher, I prepare things in advance. I do this because I know I will have less time later.
I took these photos during a recent visit to Marshall Park, in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Marshall Park is one of my favorite parks to visit. It has a view of the city. It usually isn’t crowded. It’s close to my house.
