“There is no influence like the influence of habit.” – Gilbert Parker

In my quest to be a healthier person, I have added something to my workout routine, walking. I never thought I would enjoy walking. However, I look forward to it every time I get a chance. I try to walk every day during my lunch break, life and weather permitting. I find that a good 15-minute walk around the park gives me more energy. It also boosts my focus in the afternoon. My wife and I walk around our neighborhood in the afternoons if the weather is cooperating. I never thought something so simple would help me feel better during the day.

One thing I don’t do on my walks is look at my phone. I might play some music, and that’s it. Since I don’t prefer to use my phone while walking, I sometimes bring my camera with me. Recently I purchased a lens from Retropia. It is a lens made from recycled disposable cameras. It gives the photo that feeling that it came from a film camera without the cost of film. To me, it gives the best effect in harsh lighting conditions. Here are some photos I captured on my walk recently from around my neighborhood.
