“Things start out as hopes and end up as habits.” – Lillian Hellman

One of my goals recently has been to take better charge of my health. I have been watching what I eat more, and I have been making exercise more of a priority. The main thing I have added to my daily routine is walking. I try to walk during my lunch break at work and after dinner. My walks at work are typically short depending on how long it takes my class to get through the cafeteria. My neighborhood in the last few years has been changing a lot. New homes and apartments are going up all over the place. I am not a fan of the increased traffic. However, having nice places to walk near my house is a plus.

It might not be a surprise, but this amateur photographer sometimes brings his camera with him while he walks. I practice my photography whenever I can in preparation for when I travel to a new place. I typically go the same route every time I walk. However, you never know what you might see around the neighborhood. When I take my walks, I usually only bring one lens with me. A few months ago, I bought a lens from Retropia. This lens is made from recycled disposable cameras lens. It gives the effect that the shot was taken with a film camera. On my last walk, it was sunset. Here are a few of the shots I captured that evening.
