“He is happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I love going on trips. Nothing beats going on vacation taking time to relax and see places that I have never seen before. I will be honest, at the end of the trip, I am typically ready to get back home. Don’t get me wrong, I had a great time, but all good things must come to an end. There are things I miss about being at home. I miss my bed, my spot on the couch, and being in a little bit more private area. Even though I’m glad to be home, I also loved my trip.

Last spring break, the family and I took a cruise to the Bahamas. We drove to Jacksonville, Florida, and spent the afternoon playing mini golf, and eating a What-a-Burger for the first time. Once we got on the boat, it was nothing but smooth sailing from there. We spent a day in Nassau shopping and driving a Jeep around town. On the boat, we tried everything we could handle on the buffet. We also snacked on some late-night pizza. We relaxed watching the waves go by. One thing I had to do was take out my camera. One of my favorite things to capture is sunset and sunrise. I captured these photos on the last day of this cruise. We found a great spot, and I snapped away. Even though I had home on my mind at the time, I knew I was going to miss this view.

Check out these view of Nassau I captured from the boat.
