“There is no love that is not an echo.” – Theodor W. Adorno

If you follow me on Word Press or any of my social media pages, you will notice I talk a lot about walking. Last April, my wife and I decided that we wanted to be healthier. So, we started to go on walks around our neighborhood. At first it felt like a chore, but we started to look forward to them. Our walks ended up becoming more than just a time for us to get more movement in our day. It became a time to talk and connect about what was going on. We found that our walks were not only beneficial for our physical health, but for our mental health as well.

When we go on walks, I typically bring my camera with me. I bring it with me because you never know what you are going to see. I also like to practice when I can. Our neighborhood has changed a lot in the last 5 years. We have had many new apartments and retail development in our area. I’m not a fan of the increase in traffic. However, I love that we have so much more variety within walking distance of our house. The other night we were walking through the neighborhood, and I saw these beautiful flowers blooming. Fortunately, I had my camera with me, and I was able to snap some photos of them.

You are so right! Walking is beneficial for many reasons, including sharing some lovely photos from your walks. Thanks! 😊
