“If we open a quarrel between past and present, we shall find that we have lost the future.” – Winston Churchill

I bring my camera with me just about everywhere I go. From traveling to other countries to riding my bike around Charlotte, North Carolina. Using my camera is my favorite way to capture what I see. There have been times when I have been riding my bike across Charlotte that I have seen something that I have never seen before. From protests in Uptown to various art fixtures, you never know what you will find. Photography is my way to relax and be creative. I bring my camera with me not just to capture what I see, but also to show what I see in a new way.

A few years ago, I was riding my bike, and I stumbled upon this beautiful wildflower field. I love wildflowers. They are easy to grow, and they are good for the environment they are in. When I pulled up to it, I grabbed my camera and started to snap some pictures of it. After a few minutes, I noticed this butterfly hanging out there with me. I feel like I don’t see enough butterflies flying around anymore. Anytime I see them, I try to capture as many photos of them as I can. Here are the shots I was able to capture of him, and the surrounding wildflowers.
