“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” – Wayne Dyer

Before 2020, I didn’t use my camera that much. I mainly used it on trips and when we traveled to somewhere new. When Covid started back in 2020, all of our travel plans went out the door. I didn’t want my camera to just sit there and collect dust. I started to take photos around my backyard and neighborhood. Since the gyms were closed too, I need a way to get exercise in. I started to ride my bike around Charlotte. While I was riding, I noticed that there were plenty of things to take photos of around town. I started to bring my camera with me when I rode my bike. I have been doing this for over 4 years, and I am still not bored of taking photos around Charlotte.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons to capture photos. The leaves changing colors and the cooler temperatures make it an amazing time of the year. I have taken a lot of photos around North Carolina during the fall. Here are some of my favorites from 2021. Some were taking in Charlotte at Marshall Park and the Greenway. Others were taken in the North Carolina Mountains.
