Everyone has an idea of a perfect moment on vacation. That moment that you look forward to more than anything. It could be the moment you arrive at your destination. It might be that one experience you have been looking forward to having for years. Maybe it’s a concert by your favorite artist. Or it could be a tour you have always wanted to go on. There could be an adventure you get to go on. We all have that one thing we look forward to when we travel.
One of my favorite moments when I travel is enjoying a peaceful sunset. When we take a cruise, I love finding a peaceful spot on the deck with few people around. The only sound I hear is the boat moving through the waves. I captured these photos after we visited Willemstad. We had a great day filled with touring caves, walking around the city, and enjoying some of the local cuisine. I walked around the ship with my camera in hand looking for the perfect spot to catch the sunset. Here are a few of the shots that I captured of it that evening.
