“The young man knows the rules, but the old man knows the exceptions.” – Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

There are so many places to explore in the world. Before 2017, I had never left the country. The most traveling I had done was in the Southeastern United States. Don’t get me wrong, the southeastern U.S. has some amazing places in it. From the Smoky Mountains to the swamps of the Everglades, there is so much to see. I still wanted to see more. My wife talked me into going on our first cruise in 2017, and we haven’t looked back. Since then, we have been on 7 at this point (at least I think it’s seven). We haven’t looked back, and we have one planned for Europe next year.

One of the best places I visited in the Caribbean was Willemstad, Curacao. We spent the morning exploring the Hato Caves. These caves were used by slaves to escape their masters. Then we spent the rest of our time taking a walking tour of the city. We saw several beautiful murals, amazing architecture, and walked across the floating bridge. Needless to say, I took a lot of pictures. Here are a few of the shots I captured while touring the city.
