Going for the Perfect Shot

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” – Vince Lombardi

Every time I put my camera up to my face, I have two goals in mind. The first goal is to make sure that I capture every moment of this memory. I don’t want to miss anything because this is how we look back. My other goal is to capture the perfect shot. Do I do that every time, absolutely not. From the lighting not being where I want it to something being out of focus, there is always something that can go wrong. However, I try to capture the best photo I possibly can. I do this by practicing my photography as often as I can. From walks around my neighborhood to biking around town, I am always looking for ways to practice capturing photos. The more I get out there, the better I get.

Juneau is a unique city. Juneau is the only U.S. capital that cannot be accessed by road. No roads connect to Juneau from the rest of the state. It is also the largest city in the United States by land mass. The area of Juneau is larger than any other U.S. city. It’s a big place. I used my camera to capture a few more shots of Juneau while we were walking around. I captured these photos of Juneau using my lens from @retropiacam. This lens is made from recycled disposable cameras. It gives a captured-by-film look, and it is easy to use. The lens doesn’t focus, so all you have to do is snap away.
