Fall at the Farmer’s Market

“A promise must never be broken.” – Alexander Hamilton

I have a confession to make. I haven’t been taking that many photos since I got back from Alaska. It’s not because I am tired of photography. It’s because I have so many photos to go through and edit that I haven’t had time to add more to my plate. This school year has been pretty busy so far, and I have been working on processing all of the photos I have captured in Alaska. I just have a lot more to get done.

Last weekend, my wife and I took a trip up to the @uptownfarmersmarket in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is one of my preferred farmers’ markets for a few reasons. One, it’s not that far from the house. There are some great coffee shops between here and there. We stopped at @thousandhills.clt on our way there. Another reason is that there is always plenty of parking. I am not a fan of driving around looking for a parking space. Finally, they have some great vendors with some great items. The vendors there are always friendly and helpful.

Since it had been a while since I had captured photos, I decided to bring my camera with me to the farmer’s market. I primarily used my lens which I purchased from @retropiacam. The lens is made of a recycled disposable camera lens. It is super easy to use. All you do is attach it to your camera and snap away. It gives me photos a unique perspective and feel to them. Here are a few of the photos I captured while walking around on Saturday at the Farmer’s Market.
