“Some things are so unexpected that no one is prepared for them.” – Leo Rosten

It has been cold in Charlotte these last few weeks. Before I walked outside I have to put so many layers on that my shoulders slump down. With all of the layers on, it still doesn’t feel like it is enough. Every step gets harder due to the cold weighing me down. A can feel the heat in my body being pulled out through the layers into the cold air. What warms me up is what I see. A small farmers market in Uptown Charlotte has been one of my favorite places to visit on the weekends. While the air was filled with cold that weekend, the sounds of vendors and live music puts warmth in it. When I go to the farmers market, I usually take a walk around. Then I decide what I am going to get. Last weekend, I purchased a thing of dino kale. I am one of those people that actually likes Kale, and we enjoyed it.

One thing that I haven’t been able to do in a while is street photography. I typically ride my bike to different spots, and then capture photos of where I visit. It is way too cold to ride my bike. Last weekend, I drove to the Farmer’s Market with my camera. I captured photos of what I saw at the market while I was there. I did this while looking for what I wanted to purchase. I able to get some great shots of people hanging out, making purchases, and walking around in the cold. I like posting street photography photos in black and white. For some reason, it just looks right to me.
