“Vanity working on a weak head, produces every sort of mischief.” – Jane Austen

This has been cold late fall this year. I wear ties to work, but only when it’s cold outside. I am not a fan of sweating at work. I wear ties only to keep my neck warm in the cold. This fall, has been different this year. I have worn ties so many times this year. I had to do an extra wash to clean my dress shirts. There are two things about the cold that gets old. One is all of the time I have to take to put my layers on before I leave the house. Two I am sure my heat bill is going to be insane when it comes in. At least this time of the year it feels like Christmas is just around the corner.

One thing that I haven’t been able to do in a while is street photography. I typically ride my bike to different spots, and then capture photos of where I visit. It is way too cold to ride my bike. A few weekends ago, I drove to the Farmer’s Market with my camera. I captured photos of what I saw at the market while I was there. I did this while looking for what I wanted to purchase. I able to get some great shots of people hanging out, making purchases, and walking around in the cold. I like posting street photography photos in black and white. For some reason, it just looks right to me.
