Crusing Out of Seattle

“Discipline creates lifestyle.” — Hal Elrod

Whenever I leave somewhere I have visited for the first time, I always feel a little disappointed. I feel like I haven’t seen everything. I ask myself could I have explored more. Could I have checked out more new places? Did I stop myself short while visiting? There is always a small feeling of regret. Then I tell myself, there is always next time. While I might tell a location goodbye, it might not be goodbye forever. There could be a another opportunity to see it again. My goal is to be able to make it back there in real life. If not I can always revisit again through the photos I captured and through posts online.

Last summer, the family and I had the opportunity to take a cruise around Alaska. Our port was in Seattle, Washington. We flew out to Seattle the day before, and then got on aboard the next day. Anytime we cruise out on the first day, I always take photos of our departure. Here are a few of the photos I captured that day.
