Stuck

“Inspiration arrives as a packet of material to be delivered.” – John Updike

When I write these posts sometimes I get stuck. I guess the pros call it writers block. Not sure why it happens. It could be due to the fact I typically write these posts at 5:45 in the morning. During that time, my kids are getting ready for school. It could because all my mental energy is taken from me at work. It could be that I have nothing to say. That one I doubt because I love to talk. I think in reality I have a lot on my mind. I am trying to process and sort everything out. While in this moment, I am trying to sort out a lot of things. I haven’t sorted it enough to where I can get it out on paper. That might be the real reason I am stuck this morning. I have ideas. I have thoughts. I just haven’t sorted them out enough to write about them this morning.

I don’t have any trouble figuring out what to post. I always know which photos I am going to showcase today. During winter break, the family and I had an opportunity to visit Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida. We were able to walk with birds in the aviary, swim in a heated lazy river, and snorkel with sharks and sting rays. The best part of the experience is when we walked with the flamingos. It has been my mom’s dream to meet them up close and personal. These are photos of the flamingos that I captured before the event.
