A Storm Is Coming

If you have been watching the news for the last few days, you would know that a winter storm is coming to the east coast. It seems like what is coming changes from day to day, but we do know that there will be ice. Snow isn’t that bad. Snow is light, fluffy, and fun to play with. Ice is terrible. Ice is heavy and takes down trees. I know when people from the northern part of the United States come to the southern part of the United States, they are amazed at how little winter weather it takes to such a city down. But, they forget that ice and snow are two very different things. One is fun, and other is the worst. This could be a rough storm for many people in the next few days. I know we went ahead and stocked up on food. We don’t have to worry about leaving the house for a couple of days. There is only so much we can do to prepare, and so we just get ready the best we can.

I took these photos back in 2018. These photos were from one of the last big snows that we had. The whites stuff covered up just about everything, and we got a couple days off from school. I took advantage and walked around my house and my neighborhood with my camera. It was a fun snow, but I was glad when it was over.
