“No one can figure out your worth but you.” – Pearl Bailey

In photography, we are always looking for new perspectives and new views. We are wanting to see things from a different angle. We do this because we want to see things that we didn’t see before. I can’t count the number of odds positions I have stood in to get the shot I wanted. I have taken full advantage of my screen. It pops out on my camera. This allows me to capture those unique angles. I have invested in lens, filters, and adapters that give me the best opportunity to capture the best shot possible. One lens that I use is from Retropia. This is cool lens made from a recycled disposable camera. It gives off a vintage feel to my photos, and it is super easy to use. No need to focus, just point and click.

Our second stop was Skagway, Alaska. Skagway is one of the few places in Alaska that is connected to the rest of the world by road. Our main goal for the day was to ride on the White Pass Scenic Railway. Before we got on the train, we took a walk around downtown Skagway. We checked out the shops and the different places. This might surprise you; I did stop for a coffee at one point. You would think with everything in Alaska being far away that the coffee wouldn’t be as good. However, every cup I drank was fantastic. After we rode the train, we ended our time eating fresh crab and halibut at a restaurant by the pier. Here are a few photos I took around downtown before we got on the train.
