“Photograph: a picture painted by the sun without instruction in art.” – Ambrose Bierce

What toys did you play with as a child? I had two that I was obsessed with, Legos and G.I. Joe’s. I had a few other things, but that was the number one thing I had as a kid. I think the main reason I liked these so much is because I would often make up my own stories when I played with them. Typically, they were stories that had nothing to do with what the original toy was intended to be. They would be ones that I came up with myself.

Last summer we visited Northeast Georgia. Near the town of Cleveland is the Cabbage Patch Kids Hospital. You can go there, and pick out your own Cabbage Patch doll. I know there were super popular back when I was a kid. They are not as popular as they used to be. However, the hospital is still open. I’m sure a lot of parents bring their kids here for a little nostalgia and to give their children an opportunity to enjoy what they enjoyed as a child. I gave my son my old Legos, and he still uses them. I understand why parents would do that. My children were not fans of these guys when we visited here. We did, however, walk around the place, and I did take some photos of the grounds.
I still have Lego — the gift my wife gave me for the first birthday I had while we were dating was the Lego Technic Unimog set. That’s when you know she’s a keeper 😀

All pictures are beautiful. The pink flower is our favorite though.
