“Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.” —Saint Francis de Sales

Summer break has begun. I am now going from working 60 hours a week to working on things that I want to work on when I want to work on them. I am looking forward to the next few weeks of rest and relaxation. It takes me a few days to get used to having this much time off. I know my brain needs a chance to relax, and my body needs some rest. Here are some of the ways I plan on winding down over the next few days.
🛏️Priority one is rest. I need to take it slow and easy over the next few days.
✍️I have been so busy and tired from the last few weeks that I haven’t had any time to write. I’m hoping over the next few days I will have the time to write some more.
👨👩👧👦I want to spend a little more quality time with my family. I know we have some fun things planned for the next few days.
🚵I haven’t been out on my bike except for one time since spring break. I love going out during the week when the bike paths have fewer people.

I took these photos when the trees were blooming earlier this year. I was writing on the greenway in Charlotte, and I just stumbled upon all of these trees that had started to bloom. I was planning on heading back home, but when I saw these, I took a moment to capture them with my camera.

I found this quote the other day. This quote summarizes my goal for this summer. I had the voice over of a video I made a few weeks ago.
