“I have never met a man so ignorant that I couldn’t learn something from him.” – Galileo Galilei

I’m sure most of you who follow me know everything about me. Just kidding. I know I have some new followers and old that might not remember this fact about me. I graduated from a college that had a waterfall on campus. It’s true. My Alma Mater is Toccoa Falls College, and the campus lives up to its name. There is a waterfall on the backside of campus. Even though the falls were on campus, I rarely visited them. I guess I was too busy with the hustle and bustle of college life.

This is the real Toccoa Falls. Toccoa actually means beautiful. That is how the Native Americans who lived in this area saw the falls, and I couldn’t agree with them more. This is one of the highest waterfalls in the United States. For those of you who love to look at waterfalls this one is pretty easy to get to. It is a very short walk to the falls. The walk is pretty awesome because you are walking by Toccoa Creek. You do have to pay a couple of dollars to access it, but that goes towards caring for the area. If you are alumni you can visit for free. That is the least they can do for me considering I paid the school tens of thousands of dollars for my education.

The first photo is one that I took off the path near the falls. I saw a small clearing, and decided to head through it with my camera. Turns out, when I came back down, I saw a sign that said to stay on the path. Good thing I didn’t get caught.

Mesmerizing, where is this place?
