“Quality is everyone’s responsibility.” – W. Edwards Deming

When we go on vacation, it is typically something we are looking forward to. When we imagine our time on vacation, we always imagine the weather to be perfect. We always imagine it will be sunny with clear skies. Depending on the destination will depend on the ideal temperature. For example, last weekend we took a day trip to the mountains to see the fall leaves and go apple picking. The temperature was right where I wanted it, 65 degrees (18 degrees Celsius). If I was planning a day at the pool, I would want it to be around 85 to 90 degrees (30 degrees Celsius). The thing about the weather is, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t.

We took a cruise to Bahamas last spring break. The weather wasn’t what I imagined it would be. The closer the ship got to Nassau the more it rained. Our day in Nassau was a washout. It rained most of the day there. We made the best of it, and took a bus tour of the city, so we could stay dry the whole day. It was a fun tour, and we were able to see most of the city. The rain stopped later that afternoon, but it was cloudy the rest of our time there. The next day we did get the ideal weather for a day at the beach. It was clear skies and sunshine the entire day. The ship was late leaving for the island, and so I spent some time on the top deck with my camera. As soon as I made it to the top, the sun had just started to come out. It was the first time I had seen it since we left port in Charleston.

Love it
