Just Stop and Take a Photo

“Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.” – Margaret Mead

How many times has someone driven where and you wished that you had time to take a picture? You pass by an amazing view, and think to yourself, “wow this would make a great photo.” There have been so many times that I wished I could have stopped and taken a photo.

The last time I went to the mountains I saw some incredible views. We started off our day at Curtis Creek near Old Fort, North Carolina. We followed the gravel road all the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We rode the Blue Ridge Parkway all the way the Marion, N.C. On the way to Marion, we saw some pretty great views. At one point we passed by this lake, and my son said, “wow dad, that would make a great picture.” So, I found a place to pull over, and I took some shots of the lake. I have no idea where I was when I took this photo, but I was glad that I found a place to pull over in order to capture a photo of it.
